Privacy

We value your privacy at South Fulton Institute.  When you use our website, you consent to the use of your personal information by us in the manner specified in this policy. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable, such as your name, address, email address, phone number, credit card information, or other information that is not otherwise publicly available. The primary purpose of this website is to provide information about South Fulton Institute, not to gather personal information. However, we do gather the information described below to improve the content of our website, notify patrons of updates to our website, process patron purchase transactions, and contact patrons for marketing purposes.

Information Gathered

We collect the domain name of visitors to our website, the email addresses of those who provide them to us or who communicate with us via email, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user-specific information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by patrons, such as contact information, survey information and/or site registrations. You may volunteer to provide us information when you choose to register with our site, become a member of South Fulton Institute, order tickets through our website, join our email list, make a donation, sign up for a class or training program, participate in a survey, or contact us with your questions or comments.

IP Addresses

For each visitor to our website, our  server automatically recognizes the visitor’s domain name or Internet Protocol address. An Internet Protocol (“IP”) address is a number that is automatically assigned to every computer connected to the Internet. When visitors request pages from our website, our servers log the visitors’ IP addresses. We do not normally link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that a visitor’s session will be logged, but the visitor remains anonymous to us. We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to audit the use of our site. We also use IP addresses to collect statistical information for marketing and promotional purposes. We may use IP addresses to identify a user when we believe it is necessary to enforce compliance with the terms governing use of our site or to protect our services, site, customers, or others.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is created in the computer’s hard drive that gives the user a unique, random ID. This ID enables the website to readily recognize each visitor on a subsequent visit to the site. For example, a cookie may indicate the preferences selected by a visitor on a prior visit and facilitate more efficient browsing on subsequent visits. We use cookies to store visitor preferences (to make visiting our site easier), to record session information (such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart), and to record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit (to see which pages are popular and which are not). If you reject the cookie, you may still use our site, but you will not have access to any part of the site that requires you to log in.

Use of Information

The information you provide to us will be used to operate our website and to deliver the services you have requested (e.g., to send you the newsletters you requested, to respond appropriately to your inquiries, or to send you the products you purchased).

We may also use the information to conduct market research studies and reports. We may share the information you provided in aggregate (non personally identifiable) form with third parties.

In addition, if you supply us with your address or  email address (except as provided below), you may receive periodic mailings or emails from us with information on new services and upcoming events. From time to time, we make the postal addresses and email addresses of those who provide them to us available to other reputable organizations we think you might find interesting.  Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding new products, services and upcoming events. We will not share your telephone number with any other organizations. When you purchase items or tickets on our website, we will have to share the information you disclose at the time you make the purchase with the credit card processor for purposes of collecting money for purchases. We also reserve the right to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request or to cooperate with law enforcement and other authorities in investigating a claim of illegal activity. With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with nor have special relationships with any ad server companies. All information is maintained by South Fulton Institute.
